You won’t believe the fateful turn of events that led to this film being added to the schedule! TCFF Alum Ian Padron (he of the 2010’s Cuban Invasion with the film “Dreaming in Blue”), flew to Traverse City to surprise Michael Moore with his new film and ended up sitting right by him on the same plane. Michael then watched the film and invited this film about a Buena Vista Social Club member to screen in this year’s fest! Absolute kismet.
